Sundays at 8 am
This Sunday morning service is our most quiet, contemplative one. We celebrate the Eucharist using Rite II with a spoken liturgy and hymns sung by the congregation. The nursery is available during the 8 am service. A full buffet-style breakfast is provided immediately after the 8:00 service, as well as adult Christian Formation classes.
Sundays at 10:15 am
At the 10:15 am service we are joined by the choir. The setting is a bit more upbeat than 8 am with the addition of more children’s programming available during the 10:15 am service. Children are welcome in the nursery (infant through Pre-K), Come to the Cross class (ages Pre-K through 5th grade), youth class (ages 5th through 12th grade), or to stay and worship with their parents–they should be comfortable wherever they are. Children who attend Come to the Cross or the youth class will return to the sanctuary before the Eucharist.
First Thursday Eucharist Service at La Vida Llena— 11 am
Mother Jan presides over a worship service at La Vida Llena Retirement Community once a month. All are welcome to join this service. Ask for directions to the chapel at the La Vida Llena front entry desk.
Thursday Eucharist Service — noon
St. Chad’s offers a midweek Eucharist with the Saints at noon on Thursdays. This service is about 30-40 minutes long so that those who might be able to join us during their lunch hour can get back to work. On the first Thursday of each month, the service will be a healing service with the laying on of hands and anointing for the sick. Please join us on Thursday afternoons for this time of prayer and worship.
