Daughters of the King

Rekindle friendships and fellowship in this spiritual sisterhood dedicated to a life of prayer, service, and evangelism. All ladies who are members of St. Chad’s may join the Order for fellowship and prayer. 

The Order of the Daughters of the King® is an international religious order dedicated to the Spread of Christ’s Kingdom and to the strengthening of the spiritual growth and guidance for the Church, St. Chad’s parish, and its ministries, clergy, and parishioners. 

Meetings are held the third Saturday of each month. We gather for a bit of fellowship, morning devotions, a brief business meeting, updating of our prayer list, and a project or short program. Visitors are welcome at every meeting. 

Our Chapter has sponsored parish wide drives for school supplies, winter wear, underwear, and socks. We’ve written letters to all the campers at Camp Stoney and we also made them nearly 500 Bible verse cards. We have planned programming for the entire parish to promote spiritual growth. We support the Milagro Project at UNM by supplying vitamins and healthy snacks. This project helps pregnant women overcome addiction and plan healthier futures for their families.
