At St. Chad’s, outreach is at the heart of our mission. We are committed to serving our community, supporting local partners, and providing opportunities for all members to make a meaningful difference. Through hands-on volunteer work, advocacy, and partnership with local organizations, we seek to address needs, uplift voices, and create lasting impact.

Whether you are new to the church or have been with us for years, there is a place for you to contribute your time, talents, and resources. Albuquerque Healthcare For The Homeless

Albuquerque Healthcare For The Homeless services include psychiatric, eye, dental, dermatology, podiatry, and primary medical care, as well as crisis intervention, children's outreach, and harm reduction outreach.

CasaQ

CasaQ provides safe living options and services for LGBTQ youth at risk and experiencing homelessness. CasaQ is the only shelter in NM serving this need. Phone 505-872-2099. A news video about CasaQ is available below.

Computer Support Group

Computer Support Group at St. Chad’s receives donated computers and other computer-related equipment. The computer hard drive are then repaired, wiped, and upgraded. These items are given away to many non-profit organizations and needy individuals within Albuquerque and the surrounding community. The group also aids our parishioners with their computer or home network problems. For more information contact Bill Eckel: 505-205-7344.

Faith Comes By Hearing

Faith Comes By Hearing strives to ensure everyone has access to Jesus Christ’s Gospel in a format they can understand. There are over 7,100 languages spoken all over the world. 70% of these people learn primarily through hearing, and 50% cannot read at a functional level. FCBH is working to record and freely provide the Word of God in every language by the year 2033.

HopeWorks

HopeWorks is a key leader in services to people experiencing homelessness in Albuquerque. Services include behavioral health programs, Hope Village housing, and a day shelter. The shelter includes rest areas, showers, meals, clothing, mail, and storage.

Rio Grande Food Project

Rio Grande Food Project's mission is to alleviate hunger and cultivate long-term food security in our communities. The Project works to do this through an independent food pantry; assistance with utility bills; educational resources on bill assistance, employment, health, nutrition, and children's literacy; and through on-site enrollment in benefits and a community garden. Roadrunner Food Bank

Roadrunner Food Bank works to solve food insecurity around New Mexico. Food is collected, sorted, and warehoused at the Albuquerque location. The food bank is a food distribution hub, providing food to hundreds of food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, regional food banks, and programs for children and seniors around the state. S.A.F.E. House

S.A.F.E. House provides shelter and empowerment services to survivors of intimate partner domestic violence. Women, children, and men are welcome. Phone: 505-246-4219.
